“Blizzard” (barn name “Blizzy”) is a 2009 17.2hh Holsteiner Gelding by Cachas x Con Air 7

Blizzy has won High Jr/AO divisions + U25 classes & jumped many 1.40m+ tracks in his career. He is brave & honest with a great gallop, powerful jump, and lots of know-how to pass along. He’s been winning in the 1.20m-1.30m classes this summer & in a more structured program may very well jump the bigger classes again. He’s very athletic, largely unaware of his age, and not for novice riders. He’s not hot but commits to the jumps, tries hard to go clean, and has some occasional enthusiasm. He’s educated, eager to win, and ingate ready for a game Ch/AA rider seeking the Low - Medium Jr/AO winner. Seller is downsizing across the board (see also Karl & Leggs) & has priced this horse very competitively.

Seller is seeking great homes where the horses will thrive & enjoy the personalized care they’re used to. Both the pandemic and long border closure (through Fall 2021) impacted show schedules & sale opportunities for these horses, but they’re back in the ring & fit to win. Seller is reasonably negotiable to a great situation. New x-rays can be made available to serious parties before traveling for a trial.
